Terms of use

The terms that apply when you use this website: acceptable use, the status of its content, intellectual property, links and liability.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the website at cysolutionsinc.com, operated under the name Creative Young Solutions. By using the website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

These terms cover the website only. Any services we provide — IT services, consultancy or work through our freelancer network — are governed by a separate written agreement made for that work, which takes priority over anything on this website.

Using the website

You may use the website to learn about our services, read our guides and contact us. When you use it, please don't:

  • use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights
  • send spam, malicious code or misleading information through the contact form
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system
  • interfere with the website's operation, security or availability, including through automated scraping at a volume that affects performance
  • copy large parts of the site to present them as your own

Information on the website

The service descriptions on this website explain what we do in general terms. They are not an offer that can be accepted to form a contract. The scope, timing and cost of any work are set out in writing, for that project, after a consultation.

Our guides provide general information to help small organisations think through technology decisions. They are not legal, tax, accounting or professional advice about your particular situation. Laws and official guidance change; where a guide refers to government sources, check the current version of those sources, and take professional advice before acting on anything important.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee that every page is complete, current or free from error at all times. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We aren't responsible if the website is unavailable for a period for reasons outside our reasonable control, including maintenance, faults or failures of the networks and providers the internet depends on.

Intellectual property

The text, graphics, illustrations, logo, design and code of this website are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights, and belong to the operator of the website or its licensors. You may view the site, print or download pages for your own reference, and share links to it. You may not reproduce, republish or adapt substantial parts of it for commercial use without written permission.

The names and logos of other organisations or government bodies mentioned in our guides belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.

Links to other websites

The website links to external sites, such as government publications cited in our guides. Those links are provided for your information. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Messages you send us

When you contact us, please make sure the information you send is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Don't send confidential or sensitive information through the website's form; if a project requires it, we'll agree a secure way to exchange it. Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship or an obligation on either side. How we handle the personal information in your message is explained in the privacy policy.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is”, and we exclude all warranties and representations about the website that are not expressly stated in these terms. We won't be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or from reliance on its content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Security

You must not attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the website without our permission, except as part of a good-faith security report made in line with the legal notice. You must not introduce viruses, trojans or other harmful material, or attempt a denial-of-service attack. We may report any such activity to the relevant authorities and co-operate with them.

Our guides and the sources they cite

Our guides summarise and link to public sources, such as government guidance on employment status, tax registration, privacy and cyber security. We try to summarise those sources accurately and to link to the official version so you can read it in full. If a summary differs from the source, the official source prevails. Please let us know if you spot a discrepancy so we can correct it.

Severability and waiver

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we don't enforce a provision straight away, that doesn't mean we've waived our right to do so later.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, as the business is based in Toronto, Ontario. Any dispute about the website that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the courts of Ontario, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the website or to the law. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last updated. The version published when you use the website is the one that applies.
